		<description>While deadlifts don&#039;t move your ankle joint through a full range of motion (the way calf-specific lifts do), they still work the calves isometrically.  Guys who don&#039;t do direct calf exercises &lt;em&gt;still&lt;/em&gt; get bigger, stronger calves if they do heavy squats and deads.  Yeah, maybe their calves don&#039;t get quite as big as they could with &lt;em&gt;calf raises&lt;/em&gt; in their workout program, but everyone has to &lt;em&gt;prioritize&lt;/em&gt;...</description>

		<description>calf raises and the calf press machines are good for the added burn to them but if you are doing squats, deadlifts and a varied regular cardio they tend to gain size and tone very easily.</description>
